It's slightly more expensive than my other hobbies, but still in the same ballpark.
I mention it because it is 100% distance learning, and I suspect other universities provide similar distance learning to the OU these days.
Of course I am in Scotland, and education is cheaper here.
What do you want to study? Other universities are available!
I can't speak about the OU, but my history BA at the University of the Highlands and Islands is charged per module, and I do two a year. At which rate, my degree will take me 12 years, but it's a hobby, and I am in no rush.
Oh, I do love Tallis.

Saturday involved much satisfactory sorting and tidying, and checking things off my to do list. ✅
Friday was more complex, but was also productive. I am calling it out for the mass of snowdrops by the farm, and the emerging yellow broom flowers in the lane.

Reality (rocks, trees, fish etc) is so obviously objectively real, while how we experience and understand reality is so obviously subjective, that I cannot understand how anyone can *not* be a critical realist.

Was my happiness and involvement at my drawing class. The last time I went I was stressed and prodromal before a migraine. This time brought me joy. Though the few skills I have drawing have left me.
