Zionism has done for the Star of David what Nazism did for the Swastika. For many Australians, myself included, the Israeli flag is a hate symbol. While Australia maintains diplomatic relations with Israel, banning its flag would be problematic. We should reconsider the one, so we can consider the other. Come the next election, a politician who supports the genocidal state of Israel will not have my first preference. Palestine must be decolonised.
