Lovely work ๐
Lovely work ๐
5 space marines equipped with mk6 armour painted in quartered bone and blue armour.
7th squad, 2nd company, Novamarine chapter during the Badab War.
In my head these guys are part of a demi company quick reaction force used by the Imperials to stamp out Secessionist pushes.
Happy Birthday ๐
I did have a bit of a favourite character at one point...
Such a good show. And it definitely gets better the more developed the characters get.
Unfortunately I don't have any clue how to play ska ๐
I mean at least it's a lovely clean print in entirely the wrong scale. That's something.
That's seen some strumming. I'm a big fan of the dunlop sharps. But I do mostly play metal and they're not all that good for anything else.
That's a cool idea. Nicely done.
Yeah I love colour forge stuff. I use their sprays nearly all the time, only a few colours that they don't cover that I use army painter for.
Also planning to try out Ramshackle which is a tank designer/battler game.
I played Warhounds, it was a pretty ok XCOM type game but with a potentially problematic setting and some slightly wonky voice acting. Definitely got potential.
Also tried to play Burned Horizons, but it just kept falling apart on me.
Oh look me!
Very cool combination of parts and nice paint work. Lighting claws definitely seem to be the hotness this edition.
Ed did a great job painting this up, and obviously @doctorspork.bsky.social did excellent work on the 3D design. Really made me want one but I definitely have nowhere to store it ๐
No Hobgoblin is a beverage not a snack.
Yeah but shutting things down and saying they've failed is a great tax write off in the short term. Why wont you think of the short term investor returns??1!?1
Don't think its a lost art though, but potentially one that's evolving and going through some ugly stages.
I was quite pleasantly surprised by the current Flames of War rulebook. Not only well laid out, but with so many images its nearly like reading a graphic novel about how to play a battle.
Yeah there are some really wonky books, even by the same company (although different teams). Horus Heresy 3.0? Fantastic game but very confusing rulebook layout. MESBG? Super easy to find everything.
๐ I forget to even check half the time. I'm the worst at this.
Yeah very xcom-y base building. Not sure I've played an appropriate battletech game. Quite similar storytelling through decisions as Telltale games?
With my first playthrough I'm trying to follow the original story-ish, even when intending to some things don't happen the same just due to chance.
Yeah its kinda FTL-ish. More choose your own adventure type story telling, and a lot more management to do.
Should I have played this for 9hrs in one continuous sitting today? No.
Did I? Yes.
Got my butt all the way to Borg space.
Its finally time. Got to get this ship of nerds home.
youtu.be/sWGsMGOziqM?...
But those are barely L shaped at all, how could they possibly be used for playing 40k?? ๐คฃ
Totally feel that. Not been posting much for similar reasons. If you want to catch up on stuff I'd be up for that.
#RIP
Good to do something different sometimes. I only every really do army painting, and have to sometimes remind myself that it's ok to just paint one of a scheme.
Love a good de-nurgled plague marine figure.
