The making of Rumours is basically just life at the bar
Must cut their work down a lot because who isn't depressed these days? Have you looked at the planet?
Do you think doctors take a special exam on how to be dismissive of chronic illnesses? Because it sure feels like it.
I'm also interested in knowing what @susanholtnb.bsky.social and the health minister think we should do.
I started a medication that in theory, if it works, could return my heart to a normal rate. Iβm still taking beta blockers. I donβt know if this is a concern because no one is following this. Not the dr who prescribed it, not my cardiologist, not my GP. Just me and my gc girlies against the world.
Where do we go for acute issues that are caused by our chronic illnesses? The ER doesnβt manage our issues. Well neither do our doctors. So where do we go. What do we do? We sit at home and hope itβs not fatal.
I would love @susanholtnb.bsky.social and the minister of health to weigh in on this.
Woke up to pee and for some reason I decided to punt this thing again and look what changed β¦ now if only the actual healthcare system would switch to respirators and deploy HEPA and other IAQ improvements.
My conclusion from this evening's watch of Antiques Roadshow: there is money in boxes.
Antiques Roadshow really just hits all the things I want to know about things. How'd you get it? Where'd you get it? When'd ya get it? What is it? How old is it? Where's it from? How much is it worth? Mmm, yes, yes. Autism by autistics for autistics.
Our conservative run neighbour has rapid tests for free. Please take a minute to ask the @susanholtnb.bsky.social government why it is not possible for us to have the same. (Thatβs it)
Harvest is over. School is in. Illnesses spreading like crazy.
We do not have any rapid tests, and weβve decided weβre not going to be fundraising for more.
Itβs not fair to you to be funding things like this. (1)
They won't though because covid existing is inconvenient to them π₯²
I went to high school in a place called Fall River, and it would have been a lot cooler if that's what the cop cars had on them.
βRecent studies suggest that slow, tactile tasks, such as knitting, may activate brain systems in ways that support long-term cognitive health in various ways, including engaging memory, attention, and motor function, while helping to regulate stress.β

I WILL LIVE FOREVER
WOW. Look at this story in Newsweek about a couple of fit adults in NB heavily affected by COVID. Imagine if @govnb.bsky.social had told people there was evidence AGAINST exercising directly after infection! #nbpoli www.newsweek.com/mom-captures...
The fact that JR is on a podcast (that appears to be put on my Porter OβBrien) talking about the pandemic is gross. The fact that people who are to support disabled people in this province are falling over themselves in to praise her is worse.
JR is directly responsible for death and disability.
She knew covid was airborne. She knew long covid was a significant risk to anyone who got covid. She knew it in 2020, and she. did. nothing. Russell is a monster who put her pay cheque above her ethics, and she's an embarrassment to her profession.
My partner and I started watching The Sopranos together. He's seen it, I've only seen bits and pieces. I just had an epiphany. Tony's psychiatrist would LOVE Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Oops the reason I posted this was to say that weβve had the busiest day since January in terms of mask distro. People want to be safe.
A well fitted respirator can also help reduce the smokes impact on your body.
We have free respirators in kids and adult sizes. They are free to anyone in New Brunswick. We can deliver, arrange a pickup or even mail them if we donβt have a volunteer close.
This year has been a ride and a half, and those two months almost broke me. People need to be aware. If I hadn't been SO sure it was IBC, I probably wouldn't have been so persistent, but there was no way I was letting it go. I was glad to be wrong.
We are overjoyed to announce that the CR Box Lending Library is now LIVE! We are limiting this pilot project to the Fredericton Area for the time being.

I contacted the patient advocate, who didn't read what I wrote at all. Instead of responding to the systemic issues that I was trying to get addressed, they told me they couldn't speed up my appointment. When I wrote back clarifying I wasn't asking for a quicker appointment, there was no response.
Thank you. It was the worst two months I've ever experienced. I've never been so stressed out in my life, and it should've been so much easier than it was. Healthcare cannot be run like a business. You cannot look for efficiencies by blindly cutting and changing procedure. People die.
Fast diagnosis and treatment is imperative. This delay in diagnosis could have killed me. I don't have cancer, thankfully. This never should have been so difficult or time consuming. My GP did everything she could to speed it up. Stop half-assing procedure changes. It kills people.
and then another two and a half weeks for a biopsy because my images were inconclusive. No one knew how to book the biopsy afterwards. Inflammatory breast cancer is always diagnosed as stage 3 because it's so aggressive.
@susanholtnb.bsky.social The rollout of the changes to central booking at Horizon have been SO poorly done. It took me TWO. MONTHS. to get all the tests I needed after I developed what appeared to be inflammatory breast cancer. It took multiple weeks to get an ultrasound and mammogram
You know what I donβt have spare cash for? Going to Fredericton twice because Horizon didnβt have the foresight to anticipate literally any issue with this self booking system.
This is so frustrating.
