Teams transcripts certainly used to require a lot of editing but is much better now - although maybe that's just by compaison!

Hello, we do a fair bit of qualitative research. We use Teams because it's approved by our ORE for collection of sensitive data. The transcription has improved immensely in the past couple of years and we are able to enter text transcriptions straight into NVivo

Lo and behold, controlling for trait compassion there was a significant indirect effect of attachment anxiety on OCD symptom severity via fear of self-compassion, and a significant indirect effect of attachment avoidance on OCD severity via fear of receiving compassion...

We did a preliminary investigation of the relationships between attachment insecurity, FOC, and OCD symptoms in a large unselected sample, and then did a second study to replicate and extend findings by controlling for negative mood...

Thus, when an obsessional concern arises, FOC may produce the additional threat that if they fail to ameliorate harm they will be unable to forgive themselves and that others will learn any compassion they had given to date was a mistake, and be harsh and punitive...

We wondered if insecure attachment evokes fears of self-compassion (it might lead to lax standards and subsequent transgressions) & of receiving compassion (in the face of a transgression others will be angry when they discover their compassion was misplaced)...

Insecure attachment can be a factor in development and persistence of anxiety difficulties, including OCD. Why and how though?
