Happy 9th Birthday, Charlotte Grey! Your strength in the last year has challenged all of us. You are beautiful inside and out. What a privilege it is to be your mama. I love you, pretty!
βI was talking not long ago to a woman who came forward and told her story very heroically. And she said to me not long ago I would advise nobody to do that. She said because my life has been completely destroyed.β
Thank you, Dr. Moore & Dr. Langberg.

I loved this, Kristin. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family.
The days between Christmas and New Years are some of the best of the year because I feel zero obligation to do anything and zero guilt for doing nothing.
These days are for rest.
I hate that so much of this is painfully and personally true, Brent.
βA person might value vulnerable people in the abstract β or might even declare a strong commitment to justice β but very few people will sacrifice anything they truly value to correct an injustice that doesnβt involve them immediately and directly.β

Just yesterday I had fantastic eye brows, knew all the current songs, and could sleep like a baby. Today Iβm an insomniac who draws on eye brows and listens to stations like The Blend and Mom Jeans.
We had an obligatory event at my daughterβs elementary school tonight. Parents were given mini hand sanitizer wipes on a keychain. And the library had a table of complimentary books. Hand sanitizer & free books at a public school event make for a very Merry Christmas for moms.
He doesn't know that every single day he heals something he didn't break.
The phase of life when the puppy isnβt potty trained yet.
I am so sorry, Sam.
None. I donβt understand the love for cranberry sauce.
Your perseverance worked, Dr. Moore! Happy Thanksgiving to you and Maria!
My 92 year old Grandma passed away peacefully last night after a long battle with cancer. She recited Psalm 23 and then asked us to check her husbandβs blood sugar. He was diabetic and passed away in 2018. What was on her mind as she passed into Heaven is a beautiful image of a life well lived.
Yes you do, Liz! Always have.
The week of Black Friday is a great time to reflect and ask myself why I subscribe to so many email lists.
Happy happy birthday, sweet Millie! You donβt look a day over 4! β€οΈ
One silver lining of having divorced parentsβ celebrating Thanksgiving twice with my siblings, their spouses, my nieces and nephews.
Itβs a not a show but still a comfort movie.
Those struggle years for you and your family connected us in strange ways. Iβm grateful those seasons were no surprise to God. He used YOU in so many ways- in my life and in the lives of so many women that are dear to my heart. I love you, Beth.
She was one of a kind, Sam! Did you know she was also an excellent percussionist?

I love old vinyl Christmas albums,
Sam! And that SCC Christmas album has always been one of my favorites.
There something magical about Christmas songs we heard as children, Liz. Iβm turning on MWS now! I forgot about that album.
Whatβs your favorite Christmas song/album & why?
Carpenters Christmas for me! Daddy pulled out his vinyl on Thanksgiving Day during the Macyβs Christmas parade and we listened to it while we decorated the tree. I can still see the 1980s Christmas tree tinsel each time I hear Merry Christmas Darling.
Since Christmas decorations are up + Thanksgiving is late this year + Black Friday specials are already available, whatβs everyone doing next week?
We loved Jeremy Roach when he was at Duke, Steve. And thatβs saying a lot because Iβm a UNC fan.
Thanks for sharing this, Kate. I had no idea.
