Auf einem roten Kunstledersofa stehen zwei Bücher zum Thema Geschlecht/Gender und Technik: "Das Patriarchat der Dinge" von Rebekka Endler und "Recoding Gender: Women's Changing Participation in Computing" von Janet Abbate. It always saddens me when people demand non-VR ports because it seems they do not care or understand how much work goes into a decent build-for-VR project and what ultimately gets lost when they redesign it for flat gaming. This has to be so frustrating for devs trying to go all in.

I got a Rift S ~4 years ago and when I started playing HL Alyx it was the 1st time since the Xbox 360 that a gaming experience really felt next-gen to me. Like the medium really made a fundamental step forward. I still love flat games but VR is just amazing in its own way. I hope it is here to stay.
