This is "Myaku-Myaku", the mascot of the EXPO in Japan(Osaka) last year, and he's an (official) shapeshifter who's made out of cells and water!
Probably the 1st amorphous character I know to be used as a mascot at an international event :P

Agreed. Doing this also uncovers some of the secrets on how the artist constructs their characters. There's usually patterns in the shapes that they use and stuff.
I'll be going dark a bit longer here art-wise, but there's a good reason for that. My next few pieces will cover a bit of Annie's past, and I'm taking great care on them because she's my favorite OC. 😉
