I happened to see a meeting of a Jewish org I’m intermittently involved with, and I dropped the rest of the candy cane Oreos on the meeting table and said “I didn’t check if they’re kosher!”

The rabbi shouted “DON’T CHECK!”

One time I got some Oreos with crushed up candy canes in them on the Christmas clearance shelf at the dollar store. They were so good they were almost too powerful to have in my house.

I took them to work and shared them w work pals who also seemingly could not stop continuously eating them

Oreo’s always up to some fuckshit with the flavors but I would eat this

I used to commute across the lake to my summer job at the country club on a jet ski, one time coming back I flipped it (doing dumb shit trying to look cool), flooded the engine, and had to swim across the lake towing the jet ski in my waitress uniform with a rope.

(My dad wasn't thrilled)

pulled the production file for the 1947 curt teich postcard of louis sullivan’s holy trinity orthodox cathedral and it might be the first i’ve seen where the customer sent the painted mockup back for fixes—teich’s artists got the front door and windows wrong

A dear friend's cat is dealing with anemia and needs blood transfusions, and I am so worried for her, but wanted to pause and remind folks that cats and dogs can be blood donors. If you have a healthy animal between 1-6 years of age, look for a program near you. Save some lives.

Worked at the Ford Rouge plant. Worked his way up to being the guy who fixed things if things were going so badly that the line had to be stopped. Also a big UAW and Communist organizer.
