I hate that I'll often listen to a music album once, absolutely love it, and then immediately forget how most of the songs sound. :-(

I can't speak for anyone, but based on that, I'm guessing it's basically trying to be Portal with none of the engaging puzzles, witty dialogue, and unique characters that made it so iconic in the first place.
