BBC’s Chris Mason calls Farage a β€œmaster of storytelling”
Maybe the BBC could stop helping him out and tell another story. One about a grifting prejudiced conman who’s wrecked our country with his β€˜Breaking Point’ Brexit but has never been held to account for the lies he’s told, the damage he’s done.

Screenbrag of Top Gear magazine article https://www.topgear.com/car-news/jeremy-clarkson/jeremy-clarkson-quad%E2%80%99s-own-country "I have bought a farm. There are many sensible reasons for this. Land is a better investment than any bank can offer. The government doesn't get any of my money when I die. And the price of the food that I grow can only go up. But there is another, much more important reason: I can now have a quad bike."

Screengrab of Daily Mail article, 19 Nov 2024: "Explaining his purchase of his farm he said: 'Let's start from the beginning I wanted to shoot, which comes with the benefit of not paying inheritance tax, now I do.

'People like me will simply put it in a trust, and so long as I live for seven years that's fine. As my daughter says, you might be in a deep freeze at the end of it, but you will live for seven years.

'It is incredibly time consuming to have to do that, why should all these people have to do that, why should they?'

Clarkson said the 'only reason' Rachel Reeves bought in the inheritance tax on farmers was to 'stop wealthy people'.

When Ms Derbyshire argued that Ms Reeves had bought in the measure to 'raise money for public services', Clarkson turned to the protesters and said: 'Are you listening to this?'

'When asked if he'd had a GP appointment recently, he said: 'Yes, I just recently had a heart attack.'

Ms Derbyshire then asked 'where should they get their money from if not farmers?' to which Clarkson replied: 'Did you hear that everyone? BBC thinks you should be paying for everything.'"

I'm not sure Jeremy Clarkson is the most sympathetic champion for poor farmers, many of whose concerns about the loss of #Brexit subsidies and poor trade deals are legitimate.

Here is what he told Top Gear magazine when he bought his farm πŸ‘‡πŸ½ and what he claims today πŸ‘‡πŸ½. 🧐~AA
