There he goes again, shaking hands, strengthening strategic partnerships and leading Canada beyond the U.S. rupture. Thanks Mark! π¨π¦π€π―π΅

I rarely post photos of myself and suck at taking selfies. We offered to take a photo for some other friendly tourists at the Arc de Triomphe and they returned the favour. The handsome guy on the left is my husband Michael of 25 years this year. I am a very fortunate man. ππ€β€οΈπ«π·

Sampled some delicious, creative Asian-Indian fusion cuisine in #Paris π½οΈ π·: Dahi Puri chat, Chicken Spring Rolls, Samosa & Marinated Chicken Pops. Absolute yumminess! π

Ventured about an hour south of #Paris today to the charming village of Fontainebleau and toured one of Napoleonβs favorite residences, ChΓ’teau de Fontainebleau π«π·
As if Mr Zelenskyy doesnβt already have enough to worry about π ffs
International diplomacy is an extremely complex and often messy business, even more so when dealing with volatile, unpredictable players. Leaders often must carefully navigate rapidly changing conditions and walk a very thin line. Both PMβs Albanese and Carney are doing a great job so far imho. π¨π¦π€π¦πΊ
We are Canadian Australian permanent residents, and so proud that youβre our PM! Thanks Mark ππ»

Screenshot of a headline from the CTV News website. The headline reads: Canada and Australia sign a series of agreements on critical minerals.
Canada and Australia have vast deposits of critical minerals. Weβre going to work together to build up our production, processing, and refining capacity β for stronger, more resilient supply chains.
On our travels in Australia, and now in Europe, weβve encountered several Americans who have been very gracious and swift to apologize for what their βpresidentβ has unleashed on the world.
Meanwhile weβre sporting our Canadian flag pins and saying βnous sommes Canadiensβ at every opportunity. βπ»β€οΈπ¨π¦
Anyone recognize or remember who famously wore the long blue gown (pictures with the red backdrop)?
In the 8th arrondissement in #Paris π«π· today, we toured La Galerie Dior, strolled up the Champs-ΓlysΓ©es, and climbed the 284 steps up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe - twice (due to a security false alarm)

Where are the #London π¬π§ savvy Blueskiers at? I need some insider tips on how best to spend 72 hours hitting the highlights without breaking the bank or plodding around with headphones on with the herd on a tour. Think tourist who feels like a local. Ta!

Spent the morning touring nearby Montmartre, the Basilique du SacrΓ©-CΕur, and climbed the 292 steps up to the Dome to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Paris ππ€β€οΈπ«π·
Just about to head out for another day of explorations around Paris. Last night's dinner was not French, rather Turkish lamb "Pide" (pizza) which was yum! π
ABC: focused on the hard-hitting issues gripping the world. Not π
Even though I studied French in school, I haven't really had an opportunity to use it as much as I have this past week in Paris, so l struggle to understand dialogue at times. Still, I highly recommend going outside your comfort zone when you travel. It's challenging, empowering and liberating.
Another great Spring day in #Paris π«π· today in the 5th arrondissement. We began with a typical French lunch, Croque Monsieur et Croque Madam (toasted ham & cheese sandwiches) strolled through Jardens des Plantes, toured the Pantheon, saw the Sorbonne, and had coffee at Le St. Regis on Ile St. Louis

The Place des Vosges is one of the oldest in Paris, and also one of the most beautiful. Known as Place Royale until the end of the 18th century, it was a fashionable and expensive square to live in during the 17th and 18th centuries.
