Today is World Energy Day 🌎⚡ We’re celebrating the power of green energy ownership. In December, our members’ wind farms generated enough to power over 1M homes for a day - a powerful example of what cooperative renewable energy ownership can achieve. Here's to a fairer energy transition for all.
A record-breaking December for Ripple members!
Total cooperative generation was the highest *ever* at over 8,000 MWh from both Kirk Hill and Graig Fatha wind farms. That's enough for over 1.1M households, about the same as powering all the homes in Greater Manchester for a day!
The UN has designated 2025 the International Year of Cooperatives, and Ripple members are leading the charge! This year, we’ll share stories about our cooperative projects and our members' own sustainability journeys to show just how impactful big energy co-ops can be:
