(This'll only come up if they have an event where the RT would conceivably lose a whole lot of military excursion manpower, tbf)

In my Imperium Maledictum game I'm hoping to give my players the opportunity to recruit some orks (their patron is a Rogue Trader who really likes xenos and making deals x3)
BRING BACK WEBSITES AND FORUMS
AAAA
We just did session 0, we're starting up the campaign proper next weekend. From what I've read and of CC/Patron creation though, I absolutely love it. If you try it out, there's a fan who has made this huuuge MEGA repository of fanmade supplements/bestiaries.
Overall, I recommend it so far.
Delta Green's "if the agents are competent in a thing and there's no major reason to roll, just let them succeed" has influenced how I run everything since then, from the Alien RPG to Traveller to (most recently) Imperium Maledictum x3
Put the pronouns back in the email
2026 Primary Woke Wave
Yeah, and that was never going to happen. Terenas was never going to accept the random bird TF dweeb showing up in his keep. (I'm not actually sure if he knew who Medivh was tbh fhfhfkd)
Arthas was everything that is easy to corrupt to evil: brash, headstrong, no shortage of naivety.
Yeah, like.
There isn't a solution Arthas would have ever decided upon other than what he did, and for his efforts his soul was damned and his land was ruined. He wasn't "right", he was played.
The other travesty is him losing his allies afterwards - understandable, of course, but no less ruinous
The unicorn listened intently. Somewhere in the forest, someone innocent was singing.
The unicorn followed the sound, found the singer, and laid down with their head in the singer's lap.
"bottles of-"
The young orc fell silent, smiled shyly, then resumed singing.

Session 0 for Imperium Maledictum is TONIGHT
Aaaa!
"I've been playing games, and by that I ofc mean I've been playing exclusively DnD 3.5 with the same group of friends for 25 years."
for no reason* dhdjdkd
Safety tools can literally just be having an open enough table where someone can ask you to not give visceral details about something and you saying yes. Folks are so silly about this shit for jo reason
"Safety tools" can literally just be, "Hey, this game is going to involve some mentions of SA and child harm. That's pretty central to the module."
Like. I hate the X-Card but I always ask people about any specific stuff they don't want touched upon *in context of the setting/game*. Lines/veils.
IS THE MENACE FUCKING SKYNET FHDHDJDKDKDKD
What a roleplay-centric name,,
Bad news, gamers
I've been convinced to run a biweekly Imperium Maledictum campaign x3
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.
I was someone who swapped over to FF14 for a while. I liked it enough, but...
It doesn't really compete with WoW's class fantasy for me, and I honestly just like Azeroth aesthetically and for roleplay a lot more. Blizzard called me back despite myself just recently x3
a witch girl in purple!
You can always practice your witch craft, even on a #cutiesaturday
The cozywitch thing has been lodged in my brain since last night. I keep imagining an actual story built off of that as a ground point and then scrawl outwards with haphazard lines of chalk until I reach some sort of elusive horror-thing.
Maybe I should write about it. x3
Er, the second tweet* not this one rhdjdkd
Whenever I see this tweet I am struck with the urge to write a story with that exact same premise as the intro and then let it descend into psychedelic hellscapes from there x3
Building reading stamina takes time! Just stay steady with it and you can eventually get there.
Three billion dollars of perceived value gone!
I dunno, if I was someone who had enough money in skins to afford a mortgage I'd think I would cash out and call it a day. But I don't have that gambler mindset, I guess :p
Lmfao. If I knew someone who paid for the site I would be embarrassed to even talk to them.
You did???
I finished Stonefish today! Overall, I really enjoyed it. It does delve a lot further into the grotesque than I expected, but I've got a pretty good tolerance for that. If you're looking for some cosmic horror mixed with sprinklings of cryptids, take a looksie!
