This is a consistent hobbyhorse for carceral liberals, but the fact is the services you want to force people into barely exist even for people who desperately want them, and are largely ineffective without stable housing. There is no political will, or state capacity, to solve these problems.

Ok, I missed that. I get that the overeager fouls are a problem, but on balance we needed the scoring. I can see how Tiago went with the "safe" option. And tbf the Blazers collectively blew a lot of opportunities, it wasn't just a Jrue thing, it was a team effort to lose the game.

I'm not all fire-the-coach about it (unlike some lol), but I'd be curious to know the thinking. I get that Jrue is a steady hand, maybe seemed lower risk. And playing both gives up a lot of size on defense. Almost felt like that half court shot was a message, though. Tiago should listen.

I didn't catch the end of the game until late last night. I was surprised Scoot wasn't in to close (until the very end). He had some turnovers but he was shooting really well, and Jrue was not.
