Naturally it depends on each home.
A battery helps all year, solar is season and export tariffs are trending down.
I’ve recently set up a company specifically to provide that kind of detailed analysis and advice.

…a much bigger exercise. Needs significant changes to behaviour and if you get a badly installed one, you can be cold and worse off.
So to build confidence in electrification, people should start with the easy steps. A battery being the first one.
Dan, it’s one step at a time. Folks can reduce their electricity bill with the *simple* addition of a battery. Their behaviours don’t change significantly. It just works.
Maybe they then add solar if they can, and if they are okay with people on their roof etc.

We generated 40% more from our solar panels
Cost, for the whole house and 1,900 miles in the cars, was £169, down from £247 in January
