i like solving problems, writing code was a way to solve a problem, now talking to the computer is a way to solve them. i like thinking about how to structure the question or framework to the solution more than implementing it.
Friends and family kind of made fun of me for taking a class (in the ‘90s!) called “philosophy of consciousness” where we discussed deeply hypothetical shit (courtesy of Chalmers, Dennett, etc) that absolutely scrambled my brain.
