But I’m not actually sure. Like, I put a lot of effort into my writing. And I do think I would feel sad if someone finished my work before I could. But idk if that's because my thinking is trapped in capitalism and the things that be, or if it would make me sad even outside of those structures

I kind of wonder how much capitalism influences how strictly we think about authors and their work; I feel like there is an argument to be made that outside of capitalism, it would potentially be even fun to see a work finished by other authors and have it be more collaborative

a lot of people treat social media as synonymous with the net. of course by design. that isn't good. convenience at the expense of tinkering is what keeps pushing us into the eternal mercy of tech corporations, im afraid. you must sit with the discomfort of the unknown to grow

if you see property destruction at a protest, no you didn't. you didn't see shit. there are no "paid thugs," posts like this are just recruiting you to act as cops and help to terrorize your peers into not fighting back. it's encouraging you to be the fascists eyes and ears.
