I love the Welsh hashtag, but Isnโ€™t there a psalm verse for it? Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melltigedigโ€?

Iโ€™m wondering what they thought would be Britainโ€™s source of all that electricity. Abundant British coal? More Nuclear? As far as Iโ€™m aware no one in 1979 was seriously proposing wind farms.

I find that the phenomenon of recognising all the characters but not being able to construe the sentence (in Mandarin) has a kind of inverse in listening where I know the meaning of what is said to me but would have great difficulty in articulating what words have been used. Does that happen too?

Thank you! Appreciated. Much more positive than my work colleague who looked at me, groaned, and started on his horrific anecdote about back surgeryโ€ฆ

I have developed sciatica and I now walk like an old person. This is vexing and distressing.

I was going to say โ€œlike someone twice my ageโ€ but I realised that โ€œlike someone 1.5 times my ageโ€ was more apt, because people twice my age generally donโ€™t walk.

And if you drop your phone into the inner workings of your seat, donโ€™t try to retrieve it yourself, but ask for assistance when you land. Otherwise you might find yourself blasted through the cockpit canopy without any time to fold away your tray table and put your seat in the upright position.

Iโ€™ve heard that in the F-15 the food service isnโ€™t very good, but at least you donโ€™t have to bother with the safety briefing. The fact you canโ€™t lie fully flat is more than compensated by the badass entertainment system.

Interesting indeed! I donโ€™t think Iโ€™m a particularly visual-oriented person. I canโ€™t draw, I am mildly prosopagnostic, and I much prefer music and literature to visual arts.

I can choose what to focus on. So I can choose whether to โ€œseeโ€ an apple in my mind, or think about its taste, or the crunch sound as I bite. Etc. But I donโ€™t *have* to focus on any of these.

Hey @microsoft.com my laptopโ€™s default landing page on Edge - I assume curated by you - is a series of clickbait ads for the Telegraph and the Daily Express. Which I assure you isnโ€™t a response to my reading habits. Do you realise this makes you look like fascists?

I just walked past the genetics research institute between Euston and Kings Cross. A couple were clearly visible doing what looked like a prelude to their own โ€œgenetic researchโ€.

I guess you could say they had a neck in the Crick.

You could of course have said โ€œGreetings from Tasmania, Penguinโ€ or โ€œGreetings from Penguin, Tasmania, Penguinโ€ or โ€œGreetings mania from Penguin Tasmania, Penguinโ€ or โ€œPenguin mania greetings fromโ€ โ€ฆ orโ€ฆ. or โ€ฆ.

As the clouds of war gathered in 1914, depth charges were laid in the Serpentine. The unfortunate Martha Sniddons picked one up and used it as a skating aid. The picture captures the moment when the explosion caught her under the chin, leading to her sad demise a millisecond later. #GirlsOwnCc

Milk. But a bit watered down. And with a sparkle. As you might expect, a bit weird overall.

If it turned up on the menu today, I donโ€™t think Iโ€™d bother.

My grandparents used to give me carbonated milk as a treat (in the 1980s)! It seemed a little strange at the time but I guess itโ€™s what they remembered from their own childhood.

Using faux-archaic English for comic effect is fine, but it really irritates me when they get the grammar wrong. โ€œThouโ€ is nominative and โ€œtheeโ€ is accusative, so โ€œThee havenโ€™t changedโ€ is wrong.

Otherwise, dear card designer, I would have bought your card.

Verily, โ€˜tis not rocket science.
