Then you’re invited to sign up.
The game is based on ancient Roman texts and developed in consultation with archaeologists and a Latin professor.
Everything; tools, treatments, language, rituals; reflects that commitment.
Locations in Chapter One are reconstructed from real archaeological data.
Places like Dalj (Teutoburgium) and Mursa (Osijek) are presented through historical maps and research.
The full story begins in Chapter One, set in Pannonia Secunda in 351 AD, across what is now eastern Croatia.
Players will explore Roman forts, frontier roads, and lost sites along the Danube.
The Prologue does not take place in Pannonia.
It is a symbolic opening to the game’s themes and systems.
The Steam Playtest includes the Prologue, a standalone segment that introduces core mechanics:
– Exploration
– Herb gathering
– Medical decision-making
– Puzzle-solving
– Dialogue with branching outcomes

You play as a Roman medicus.
Not a warrior; a healer, traveler, and witness to a fading world.
