Ok amazing thanks, yeah I've seen some presets that are basically just pinching up certain parts of the frequency spectrum so I'll get stuck into some manual EQing 🤘

I happened to record a flock of European Starlings (thanks Merlin Bird ID) the other day walking home from work... quality isn't the best as it was a spur of the moment on my phone, but happy to send it over if you wanted to check it out.
I played Nier: Automata when it first came out... but I've just picked it up again and damn the soundtrack by Yoko Taro is so lush.
The choice to juxtapose the dystopian, violent, robot-filled world with a human voice, Emi Evans' insanely beautiful vocals, is just ✨👌
