US TikTok is not censoring posts, as best as we can tell from our data. But it does appear to be very stagnant right now. Welcome to normie hell, TikTok!

Meta Ray-Bans are a Cybertruck you wear on your face.

βEverything on the site is treated like COVID waves. They talk about AI like itβs COVID.β this is a brilliant observation
One cause of fascist thinking is the petite bourgeoise suddenly seeing its actual place in the system rather then its perceived one - regional gentry against international capital - a lot of management found itself inessential for a while and soon their bosses are going to realize it
Prediction markets, like crypto, like AI, are simply just another large-scale expression of COVID trauma among the mangerial class and now they're using them to turn a fucking war into a pyramid scheme they can scam each other into investing in.

Ben inspired us! Today's top section in Garbage Day is a big list of all the indie and subscriber-driven media our team is following and supporting.

Hopefully a good starting point for anyone who wants to get away from Trump-compromised mainstream media.

Basically, the right-wing wants you to think that being racist is the most dangerous (and cool) thing you can do right now. Films like The People's Joker and Nirvanna The Band The Movie prove the most dangerous thing for algorithmic streaming platforms is actually copyright infringement.
The question of our time is how do you artistically rebel β and win β against a totally flat cultural landscape? And before my readers, who I assume are all approximately 36 years old and very tired, say, βso what, who cares?β This does matter. I mean, just look around right now lol. You know things are bad when even OpenAI President Greg Brockman is posting stuff, like βTaste is a new core skill.β If people had taste, your company wouldnβt exist, Greg. But if everything is just attention now, and attention is completely commodified by algorithmic tech platforms, how can you push back against that? Well, I am slowly coming around to a theory on the new cool: You have to essentially pre-deplatform yourself. Culture right now is determined not by human teams of editors and producers picking and choosing what youth culture gets the spotlight, but, instead, by the unthinking algorithms that power YouTube and TikTok. Which means the only things that have the level of scarcity and danger required to be seen as cool by young people will, slowly, but surely, be whatever is unacceptable on those platforms.
A post so smart I'm almost afraid to share it.

I could throw a million examples at you β and will happily duke it out with you if you email me lol β but it seems to clear to me that pre-deplatforming is, to use Gen Z slang, the new meta. The Clavicularβs and Andrew Tateβs of the world sort of understand this. But itβs extremely surface level. As platforms police speech less and less, edgelords lose their sheen. While Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie is much closer to the blueprint for a post-TV and, soon, post-social media world. The culture that feels the most dangerous, and, thus, exciting to young people, will be what you canβt see online. And the most dangerous thing for platforms is not racist garbage. Itβs unmonetizeable content. The βmetricβ that will matter most going forward will not be the numbers at the bottom of a post or video, but the human beings in a room that left their house to experience something. Which, of course, will be filmed and put back online. You canβt escape the matrix entirely.
Clavicular, Nirvanna The Band The Movie, and the search for "cool" in a world of algorithms.

Clavicular, the Gen Z looksmaxxer who loves meth and hitting himself in the face with a hammer, is too stupid to realize he's ignited a war between two factions of far-right weirdos.

"The only thing Big Tech is selling us is their own unprocessed trauma back to us. It's not a revolution. It's a comfort blanket for a managerial class that still can't fathom that all their tech and wealth couldn't protect them from the pandemic."
Damn, @ryanhatesthis.bsky.social's got hands today.
Here's my take on that big dumb post about AI going viral on X right now.

Clavicular just got dairygooned
Did our best to summarize what happened To Clavicular this weekend.
www.garbageday.email/p/a-singular...
After two weeks deep inside the Epstein files, I've come to view his operation as something close to an elder abuse scheme. Pitching old oligarchs on the collapse of the global order as a way to fund his sex trafficking operation.

Bolsonaro estava trabalhando com Steve Bannon e Jeffrey Epstein durante sua campanha eleitoral de 2018.
Bannon: "Γ preciso manter as Jair coisas nos bastidores."
So this is news to me. In the lead up to the 2018 Brazilian election, Jair Bolsonaro claimed he was not working with Steve Bannon. It turns out he was working with both Bannon AND Jeffrey Epstein.
Big weekend for Clavicular. His cortisol levels were spiked by foids while he was jestergooning and chadfishing in the club. And then he got ragebaited by the King of Scottsdale.
Huh! These appear to be emails between Jeffrey Epstein and Zubair Khan, the CEO of Tranchulas, a multinational cybersecurity firm, about the 2016 US election. Seems like Epstein was paying Khan to scrape tweets for him, trying to predict the election.
You're laughing? Clavicular got brutally frame mogged and you're laughing?
It also feels like an impossible story to cover in its entirety. Thereβs nothing you can write, at least that any mainstream outlet would publish, that feels sweeping enough to capture everything that needs to be said about the Epstein files, so each piece you reads feels so unsatisfying
The American media has never been weaker, but thanks to the first ammendment it can't really be stopped. There will always be people publishing in some form. But it can be drowned out. That's what's happening now. And there still is not a totally clear framework for combating that.
