Marathon gives and takes, but right now I think I need to take it less seriously until they optimize the game more. My frame rate drops so low I can't aim consistently in fights on certain maps.

Three elves finished, finally. Because of my accent, I say 'Tree Elves', which is also correct.

Marathon is great so far, the game world and vibes are immaculate, but I do not need to see 3 Grenadiers every time I enter Hauler. Not an OSHA compliant vehicle whatsoever!

Was sick the past day, but I'm going to finish my elves before the weekend.

Highlights coming along on the six Glade Guard. Just the leathers and the base rim left to go.

RE9 and Marathon took up all my time the past few days, but the Glade Guard feel like a mental block so I'll just finish the ones I've got right now and move on. I wanna keep the painting momentum going.

Well I've now painted and based every space marine I own. Feels good to see the whole army on parade. FOR THE KHAN!

Won't lie, the amount of times I'm saying "ah just one more run" in Marathon is... Well, it's a lot lol, it's a stealth horror shooter. For my opponents. Finally getting the hang of the different guns.

Mini number 50 finished, another Leaper for Firefight. 50 in 2 months! The Mantic stuff painting up so easy is a huge part of that.

Marathon's gameplay loop has me quite sold, but it's a roguelite in design - You have to put the pieces together to understand how it all works in tandem, and some players are just higher level than you and you will wipe hard for it. Worth a look, but I think it's a... marathon, not a sprint.

Finally got all my Glade Guard cloaks batch painted. At this point I'll just go in and paint each one separately, or I'll never touch them.

My next part of my pledge is also assembled and ready: 5 Chaos Knights.

I will paint anything to not have to paint these Glade Guard it seems lol, but they're my pledge so I really should be working on them. Eventually.

Minis 38 through 41, both Armigers fully finished, and the 5th tormentor. The Plague Leaper was very quick as well, mostly dry brushing, so barely 90 minutes with touch ups and highlights.

I've also been touching up my Iron Sultanate before their grime wash. Rust effects and so on.
