Th amount of times my kids have been watching YouTube and my Oncall ringer goes off….heart palpitations and I don’t even have the phone this week….

For real, there’s no way of knowing what situation she left back in her home country. Even if she wanted out of the marriage, what resources would she have to take care of herself/kids? How safe would it be to leave? These relationships feel very DV adjacent, with power and control being central.

Saw a community theater production of it while being on maternity leave a couple months after giving birth to my first, had wacky hormones and lacking sleep. It may have been the first time out without baby and my partner and I went in completely blind…it was quite the experience 😭😭😭
