Working in a pandemic world is just listening to colleagues say “there must be something going around” on a weekly basis for years and trying to decide if you wanna remind them it’s covid or silently scream into the void again.
So the fact that we bombed a girls elementary school, while likely using AI for targeting, is going to be a major headline story dominating American news coverage when exactly?

The American government telling their troops that they invaded Iran to bring about the rapture is terrifying. I don’t think the media should move on from that when they’ve given the justification that they are fighting a Holy War. At what point does someone step in and stop this insanity?

If you cannot see that the moment you unpeople one demographic, you create a gray area for every other demographic, you're beyond hope.

I find it amazing that people watched Heated Rivalry, a show about two men who had to stay in the closet because hockey is so conservative somehow walked away with the impression that hockey was inclusive. People aren’t very smart anymore.
USA 🇺🇸 Hockey has yet to put a statement out in support of the women’s team. Imagine being a woman player for them right now.
I'm sitting here seeing some people using "boys will be boys" to excuse the behavior of grown ass hockey men while we keep seeing headlines and articles referring to girls as "young women".
I know it has always been this way, btw, it just seems to be getting even worse.
The sexy hockey show did all that work earning good will towards the sport with women and gay men only to have actual entitled douchebag hockey men blow that good will up by reminding us why sexy hockey show is just a fantasy.
So much of the response to the hockey controversy has been “we were so unified during the games, this is about America, stop making a bigger deal about this.”
That’s all BS. And all designed to keep women quiet and in their place.
Men need to call out misogyny. When they hear it.
