Such an important chart, for a long, long time we tried to warn everyone that we needed to stop burning so much fossil fuel before we had the ability to measure this energy imbalance.
What bothers me the most is that even after we can measure it, so many people are still burning fossil fuel.

The youth of today need to turn their backs on the old establishment ala 1960s style. Good old boy patriarchy, religion being up in any part of government business, women are peoples and their bodies do not need government regulation. Burn bridges instead of bras. Forge new paths.

Corporations react to profit loss. The challenge is convenience, keeps people hooked. Instead of big boycotts, we could focus on small, successful examples where communities redirect spending. If we build a culture of economic discipline, even small disruptions could gain attention.
