Exactly. Democrats do have good messengers, however, their leaders at the top, especially Schumer, are not among them. Schumer needs to step down from his role as senate minority leader.

I really believe that is Trump's primary goal (preventing a democratic party takeover of congress), and to retain his power.

This is why Democrats need to go all out to win the presumed US Senate vacancy in Oklahoma, with MW Mullins expected to fill Kristi Noem's position at the DHS.

There must be a young, talented Democratic party member in Oklahoma that can make a run in the presumed upcoming special election.

That is so f'd up ... a slap in the face to Texas voters. And to overturn an earlier court decision makes it all the more worse. I can't imagine why the court would want to restrict the time allowed for voting, other than to indulge in voter suppression.

Of course, only because they (Republicans) don't want to vote on a war resolution. Rather, they prefer to collect their paychecks, all while neglecting to do the jobs they were elected to do.

Democrats should be calling out Speaker Johnson every day demanding that he do his job.

Having, "hindsight," nobody should be surprised. I think people underestimated and ignored the red flags back in 2016. The focus then was on Hillary, thus Trump was the fall back candidate and wasn't adequately screened. Rather, it was let's give him a try.

The push to sell BLM lanfs is largely under the radar of most. There's a lot of Republicans who hunt, fish, and ride both ATVs and snowmobiles on BLM lands. This may be the issue to turn them blue.
