In another timeline we wouldn't have had to wait 16 years for a proper new entry in the franchise, but I'm glad it's coming back nonetheless. There's very few AAA games that match the vibe of Fable (if any).

It seems like Playground understood the assignment. They took the core elements of the old games and modernized them without mimicking The Witcher or chasing the GAAS market.

It remains to be seen if it all comes together in the end, but it looks very promising.
