Where I live in WA State, there seems to be almost no public interest, while the air is terribly foul, no one cares. The availability of free wood is a big problem. Without the free wood there would be a lot less burning. Perhaps a program to pick up wood and take it to the pulp processors
Make big oil and coal fund alternative energy infrastructure. It is already well known that alternative energy, solar and wind, is more cost effective. Building more brings the price down further. Utility suppliers will respond to the obvious economic choices when it comes to providing power.

The world is facing a multi-year LNG glut. And despite very weak LNG consumption in Asia this year vs the optimistic predictions, Asia is still where all the LNG growth is expected.
So why is an Asian country choosing to use coal instead and export their gas as LNG?

Wish we had more groups like yours with progressive thought in the U.S. It is a people/behavior problem and it seems nobody cares. When covid first hit, the highways were empty, the sky turned blue and I could see the snow capped mountain peaks. Stupid is as stupid does, look who we elected here.

I have been noticing as of late, many forecasts for rain, but when the day comes, nothing. Seems like the area above the heavily traveled interstate hghway 5 stays dry. Is automobile generated heat pushing away the rain.
Sure would be nice if we had president who liked to read and inform himself.
Treat the symptoms without addressing the cause. Sounds kind of like clean coal eh?
Another example of developed nations farming out their dirty industries to less developed nations. An old story indeed. We need more efforts educating people about how unhealthy beef consumption is.. Change consumer behavior by selling the fact that it is in their own personal best interest.
