remembered that n64 evangelion game existed and immediately went to see if it was on the list of roms I put on my everdrive lmao

picture of my nintendo switch 2 playing fire red, my first encounter was a shiny Rattata that i named Nugget due to his gold color
my very first encounter after leaving Oak's Lab, feels like a good sign π₯
when I was really young, I wanted to eat the A and B buttons on my N64 controller because they looked like those round tarts candy
Switch 2 is being displayed here @ 540p instead of 1080i
May have gotten the switch version of FRLG just so I can shiny hunt Deoxys π€
Nintendo GameCube connected to Sony PVM CRT TV with Super Mario Sunshine gameplay on screen.
Got the silly Switch 2 GameCube controller working with a GameCube. More on that tomorrow, I guess.
Well after a ton of hours polishing, screen turned out about 70% improved! and i got a remote for the set to access the composite inputs. iβm quite pleased with it! even more pleased to share that it has been given a new lease on life at a local screenplay theatersβ prop department!
oh. that's a new one
Got the N64 out now that my foot is much better. S-Video looks great on this little set. There's an aperture setting in the OSD to adjust sharpness.
I can't wait for my fxpak pro and everdrive 64 x7 to play some fun console-compatible rom hacks (and play games that are too expensive for me atm)
sometimes I remember the Sony eVilla was a thing
never say never because i legit TODAY just found a mon i thought i lost legit like 9 years ago.......
apparently younger me had saved a copy of him on pokemon battle revolution of all things and i was able to extract his data from that....... WTF im so happy

Pokemon leaf green being displayed on a PVM-20M2MDJ CRT through the gamecube's gameboy player
FRLG gets rereleased in a week, so here's pictures from half a year ago of leaf green on the gamecube's gameboy player
Todayβs find, a lovely 27β Toshiba PV-M2767! Found in the back of a box truck- which was parked at the back of the junkyard.. 350 yards from the entrance. nearly 3 football fields! Anyways, it works great, but the screen is very deeply scratched. Might be fixable? my back hurtsβ¦
Here is my Sony CRT monitor, it's a Micron branded CPD-2003GT. It's probably my favorite CRT that I own, I really love these curved Trinitron screens as opposed to the flat ones.
Ah yes the button I always press when I reach for the home button in the dark
The multiformat Ikegami I posted a while ago isn't perfect either as it can't accept S-Video and is a bit annoying with sync.
Disregarding the pain it caused, all in all this 9" Panasonic's a very nice set!
I think this set is pretty neat as I can't think of another shadow mask set that provides a full experience like this one, having an OSD and all four inputs. Closest I can think of is the Ikegami TM 10-17R/10-19RHC, but while that has all the inputs, it lacks an OSD.
evil backplate that cut my toe
The back plate is incredibly annoying to put back on and injured my toe to the point I had to go to the hospital :(
CRT and input board
Inside of the S915DA, looks pretty clean!
Messing around with the convergence rings.
Had to adjust convergence via the yoke rings because it was off all across the screen. Got it much better.
Super Mario All-Stars for the SNES playing on a Panasonic BT-S915DA through RGB
Grid screen through the 240p test suite, monitor is also displaying the OSD and the four basic size/position adjustments
Recent acquisition: Panasonic BT-S915DA CRT. 9" slot mask set with all four 'standard' inputs (Composite, S-Video, Component and RGB). Tube is a 300 TVL A22JWG098X Panasonic tube used in many professional and consumer sets. Has an OSD for easy adjustments.
Sony Trinitron FW900 CRT on a Facebook marketplace listing from years ago
shout out to this one FW900 I saw in the Quebec FB marketplace three years ago
it made me really sad :(
I was watching a video from Adrian and here is something I completely forgot was a thing. TVs with games in the OSD. How many of you have seen this before?
When I was a kid my Grandma's house in Jordan had one in her living room and I remember the game being like a space invaders type of game.
Sony Trinitron PVM-5041Q CRT sitting on a table with the kickstand out.
small.
sometimes I think a PVM-2030 would be really cool to have, but then I remember how the internals look and get overwhelmed at the idea of having to service one
This CRT projector is a province away from me and apparently needs fixing, but it's still pretty cool to see on marketplace
unbelievably grim to see Valve announce a delightful and exciting compact Linux box approximately 15 seconds before RAM became the more expensive material in the known universe.
was browsing buyee and stumbled across this horrifying creature
just tried booting up netflix on my PS3 and yeah it does infact give that message </3
