That's right, and all kudos to the designer, they faced a very difficult task and I fully understand their choices. This is just the sad reality of capitalism, as you mentioned, where the sole creation of the product is more important than the product itself.

Well, yeah, I also prefer and identify with the fan version of the autistic Barbie far more. However, it's impossible to fit the entire spectrum into one design, so even though I appreciate the effort, I don't think it was a good idea...
