i'm pretty sure that the so called 'literacy crisis' is actually an objectivism crisis
it isn't that people can't read and interpret text
it's that they can't figure out what the Properly Approved interpretation is
because meaning is always subjective and frame dependent
I have a lot of moral and ethical issues with the fact that I have to exist in this world
I really can't stand when people get angry because you're allegedly too sensitive. If I'm too sensitive then who cares. what is the problem. Why does it make you so angry to see somebody upset
that's what makes it an echo chamber rather than just a frame of reference
the assumption that everyone who counts as a proper person already shares the same basic set of beliefs
the beneficiaries of this system have been trying to establish ownership and control of the entire world for centuries now
but humanity persists regardless
it is bigger and older and stronger than them
that's why it scares them
people notice this because they do have media literacy
not because they lack it
they disagree with it because it is abhorrent
not because they don't understand it
