As a father of five kids, I totally agree with this evergreen post.
Splat toys are a cheap fun way to entertain your kid and yet let them have an outlet to expand their energy. This specific splat toy is shaped as an egg

A study of more than 30,000 British adults diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, found that, on average, they were dying earlier than their counterparts in the general population — around seven years earlier for men, and around nine for women.
ADHDers when the latest dopamine high wears off
Yeah, I can see that (less direct things, occasionally even passive aggressive behaviour)
I was not a GEP kid but many of my friends were…looking at their childhood I think being in a Gep class did them really good, it was for most of them their first time forming real friends, and not feeling so alone/different.
Curious how you feel about GEP and the move to remove it?
In what way do you see harm being done to neurodiverse people in Sg? Haven’t experienced that myself personally
Spouse is away on a work trip and I feel like a soggy, sad noodle. The house feels empty, even with the chaos my kid brings. It’s like my security blanket is gone, and I’m just...adrift. Is this normal, or just my ADHD brain missing its anchor?
People with ADHD/Autism are motivated differently from others.
Most people:
Rewards
Importance
Consequences
People with ADHD/Autism:
Passion/Purpose
Interest
Novelty
Challenge
Hurry (urgency)
An easy way to remember this is the acronym PINCH.
Just read that those with adhd should go lower carb, under 100 grams a day as carbs can wreck havoc with adhd. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Carb monster here….
When does bluesky get an option to schedule posts ;o;
I have so many ideas I wanna post and my ADHD always wants to post everything at once 😂
ADHD food
I recovered from a nasty bout of food poisoning recently and the only silver lining was convincing the hubby to let me eat the same meal 3xs a day for 2 weeks. A bowl of rice with clear ‘tofu and vegetable’ soup. He was baffled how anyone could be alright to eat the same 3 meals daily. #adhd

ADHD friends do this for each other.❤️❤️
ADHD in relationships can be a double-edged sword: intense passion and creativity, but also challenges with communication, focus, and follow-through. Understanding & patience go a long way, but so does learning how ADHD uniquely impacts your dynamic. #ADHD #Relationships
ADHD brains thrive on novelty and urgency. That’s why a last-minute deadline can spark superhuman focus, but routine tasks? They feel like climbing a mountain with no summit in sight!
Ever heard of ‘time blindness’? It’s an ADHD thing—losing track of minutes or hours, because your brain doesn’t naturally sense time passing. Alarms and timers = lifesavers!
Wish I could stop my brain from replaying negative scenes over and over again.
What’s an ADHD person’s favorite hobby?
All of them. At once. For five minutes.
ADHD in boys tends to be external and visible, while in girls, it’s often internal and hidden.
For example:
Boys: More likely to show physical aggression or impulsive emotional outbursts.
Girls: Experience intense emotions and are more prone to internalized stress, anxiety, or mood swings.
ADHD moms can hyperfocus on helping their kids with school projects but forget their own deadlines. It's not disorganization—it’s a brain prioritizing what matters most in the moment!
