I actually owe a lot of my career to RuneScape 🙃 laravel.com/blog/evolvin...

"Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it."--Brian W. Kernighan
Maybe it'd help to focus on that goal? You haven't given up on wanting a better, more joyful life for you/your family–hustling just isn't achieving that for you. Something else will!
I like play.typeracer.com for fun and monkeytype.com for practice (no idea if they work any better–I really did learn through a misspent youth on MMOs/IRC–but they're fun)
monkeytype lets you specifically practice your weakest words, that seems useful

I think they just push more and more ads into the lowest tier until it becomes unusable, forcing people to pay for "fewer ads" to access something watchable
(also a zero tolerance for ads person though)
a blob of needle felted white wool sculpted into the vague shape of a Snorlax sits on a desk. blue wool half-covers its back like a coat, and some unstabbed blue wool on its head gives the appearance of a ridiculous haircut.
a needle-felted wool Snorlax sits on a wooden desk with its arms out to the side, smiling at the camera with its eyes closed
a needle-felted wool Snorlax lays on its back on a wooden desk, showing off his feet (I worked really hard on them okay) and round belly
I present Snorlax's Glow Up, my favorite needle felting before/after

thank you! nice to meet you too, I love your goat :D
hi, `shy` woman checking in (honestly not shy but real imposter syndrome comparing myself to the other women on that list 😂)
I started tagging a few badass friends but realized they're all on @zuzana-k.com's Laravel one already if you need some more inspo: bsky.app/starter-pack...
I don't think it'd hurt (unless you stab your finger)
real answer, try to sell something on an MMORPG without using an autotyper and you'll get fast real quick
other than Kelly Clarkson covering Chappell, no
TASTE
time for my fashionably(?) late intro post:
• I'm a Laravel/PHP dev who stabs wool for fun
• I enjoy art of all kinds, bad puns, and good shitposts
• obsessed with animals, especially dogs
• overly concerned with privacy/security
• useless superpowers include knowing regex and typing kinda fast
highly recommend :D there are so many talented artists on bsky! I have a list if you need some inspo: bsky.app/profile/did:...
I commissioned @sonybaloneyart.bsky.social for a new pfp and couldn't be happier! she does amazing work 🎉
➡️ The PHP manual has learned a new trick, you can now run the code right in the browser!
🥳 Thanks to @soyuka for the implementation!

goodbye and good riddance
@zuzana-k.com and @jbrooks.uk are UK devs!
I am SO late but I'm a needle felter + web dev and would love to be part of this :)
Old ruin viewed through a glass frame with the original outlines of the building etched onto the glass
An interesting way to help people visualize what a ruin used to be.
ALT text copied and pasted from the linked website: An infographic titled “How To Write Alt Text” featuring a photo of a capybara. Parts of alt text are divided by color, including identify who, expression, description, colour, and interesting features. The finished description reads “A capybara looking relaxed in a hot spa. Yellow yuzu fruits are floating in the water, and one is balanced on the top of the capybara’s head.”
Posting this again because a lot of people said they found it helpful! Guide to ALT text: www.perkins.org/resource/how...
this is one of my favorite custom feeds, Quiet Posters
it shows you posts from people you follow who don't post that much! so it surfaces friends' posts that might otherwise get drowned out in the Following feed (which is reverse chronological) 🤗
these are great! I still struggle a lot with detailed faces. very cool
using actual cat hair is badass, feel free to tell her that I'd love to see pics of her work :)
here's a peek into the ugly phase of needle felting vs final product 🐙
