I have tons of fountains in my album section from across the USA and abroad because it once was big thing for me. It’s the whole water connection and fascination with the spiritual elements of way. If you read my poetry it is also a theme; not fountains but water and ok its essence. So here at the circular (also a thang for me) is this multicolored sone walled in foundation at the center of the sitting area in this cozy park — and it was almost completely froze. It has a park area aside it (not in pic) and several black metal Chairs along its circumference— w/ as a big contrast barren almost blackish trees surrounded against stone wall.

A cozy little round architecture and mainly arched sitting area with a manicured tree with brown and tan branches sticking out of a bed of some and grassy tan mulch. So petite and cute.

A store which houses indigenous merchandise and coffee shop and prayer sitting area. Leather seats and cowhide rug, road wooden table and big chalk board for prayer wishes on the wall. Undone by its quaint surroundings; I spent most of my time here praying for my family, my eyes and the would have our nation.

Journal 📝 vision better; eyes are very sore, but puffy and tired— looks
like I have black eye: I took pic of me but I’ll spare you of that look) am still doing way too much. I’m excited to see much better, already. I took the time to take little chauffeured road trip. Here: few things caught my eye.

A blue serene of cloud and olden bridge spans frozen and running water, suspended between bare trees that reach like skeletal fingers toward a pale, indifferent sky. The landscape is drained of color—blues turned gray, life turned dormant. Frost-bleached grasses, now grieve and tan, tangle and stand brittle in the foreground, a sea of dead stems that once held green.

Just warmth. Just the sound of breathing. Ahbenii had stood at the window with her tea going cold and watched the city below begin to stir - the first transit humanoids moving like shadows along the lower walkways, the vertical gardens brightening incrementally as the light panels shifted - and she had felt, for a few unguarded minutes, entirely sufficient. What she had with Zahra was sufficient. What they had built together - in small gestures, in the rhythm of shared space, in the particular way Zahra laughed at her own jokes before she finished telling them - was enough. She had not known, then, how much she would need to remember that feeling. Zahra had woken to find her still at the window.
