I just started Pokopia and I'm a little peeved that nobody told me it's basically Dragon Quest Builders 3??

Asha Sharmaβs first major move as Xbox boss is to announce their next console, which will operate as a living-room PC as expected, on X:
No Jew could be quiet for that long
One important piece of context here is that when someone buys a PlayStation, Sony doesn't just get their $500+. The company also gets 30% of *everything* they buy on the PlayStation Store. In other words, Sony makes the most money by getting as many people as possible on its consoles
NEW: Sony no longer plans to release PlayStation games on PC, sources tell Bloomberg News, a major shift in strategy that sees the console maker returning to exclusivity after six years of flirting with multiplatform.
Ghost of Yotei and Saros are not coming to PC. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
it does! Pretty safe to assume that if I tweet about a game, I'm playing it on Steam Deck

I've been really enjoying Esoteric Ebb, a narrative game that crosses Disco Elysium with Dungeons & Dragons by way of Douglas Adams. It's goofy and very entertaining. My favorite gag: the main character gets *really* excited any time it seems like an NPC might have a quest for him. Comes out today!
Before the Bloodborne pitch, Bluepoint had spent three years on a God of War live-service game that would feature Atreus in Hades. Read the full story: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
NEW: Last year, Bluepoint Games pitched a Bloodborne remake. Sony didn't turn it down... but FromSoftware did.

I for one appreciate that Disney decided to help aging millennials indoctrinate their children into their music by hiring Mark Hoppus (blink182) and Patrick Stump (Fallout Boy) to write songs for the Marvel kids' shows www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUbE...

As the story details, their key metric was retention rate, and by their own measure, retaining 10% of players after a week (5% after two weeks) certainly qualifies it as a flop
Yeah, Wildlight tried to keep it secret (not clear why)
NEW: Inside the failure of Highguard, which flopped so badly that developer Wildlight laid off most of its staff just two weeks after release.

Roughly 70 employees will be impacted by the Bluepoint closure. Bluepoint was working on a God of War live-service game until it was canceled early last year. The studio then spent the last year pitching and trying to determine what it would do next. Full story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
BREAKING: PlayStation is shutting down Bluepoint Games, the studio responsible for modern remakes of classic games such as Demon's Souls and Shadow of the Colossus, Bloomberg News has learned.
A shocking end for a well-respected studio.
Yup all the time especially if I can knock out a side quest too
Most guys read my books to impress their wives
Kinda fucked up to brag about this?
And a killer performance from Briana White!
Thanks to Covid and games taking 5-7 years to make now, it feels like the PS5 era has barely started. Plus console growth has been flat since everyone can play Roblox and Minecraft on their old machines. Hard to imagine customers taking to a PS6 in 2027
Pushing the PS6 back a few years would be a silver lining of the RAM crisis! A 2027 release would be such a disaster for everyone involved
One takeaway from the DICE convention here in Las Vegas, where game makers gather to pitch and schmooze?
Most video games should not cost $70.
