A #poacher was arrested by Panbari Police in #Assam's Chirang district during a raid based on intelligence provided by #WTI. Authorities seized 3 tiger canines, 10 tiger claws, & 144 pieces of tiger bones, and an investigation into the case is ongoing to uncover further linkages.

An elephant calf showing signs of tongue swelling and incoordination was spotted in the Lanka Range of the Nagaon Forest Division #Assam. The Forest Department & IFAW-WTI team are providing supportive care. Currently, the calf is active and under close observation.

An #elephant calf, estimated to be 18-24 months old, was admitted to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) after it was found alone and distressed near an agricultural land in Assamβs Orang Tiger Reserve.
