I need all artists to know that using 3D models in your art is not cheating. Those free-to-use 3D models are literally there to make your life easier. Stop being so hard on yourself and just trace that 3D object. You don't need to be able to perfectly draw every object ever from memory!!

I first made Morroyo a Midlander Hyur in character creator before deciding on Sun Seeker Miqo'te. His Azem Mapulon is based on that original design. I just changed a few things as Endwalker rolled around.

I put this glam together for Lilene. My younger daughter was like 😲. "Mom, she looks like that weird woman with the cloak in that cartoon!"

"Which one?" ('that cartoon' really didn't narrow it down)

It took me a bit, but eventually I realized she was talking about Raven from Teen Titans Go. 😆

Morroyo just has a 'presence' about him. An open kind that draws people to him, despite the fact he isn't that tall, height wise.

For Lewin, it's the glasses and (most likely) the hat, if he's wearing one. When he isn't wearing either/both, sometimes he can hide in plain sight.

If Morroyo was DM'ing, he'd do a campaign with lots of lore, puzzles and fighting magical monsters. If he was a player, he'd roll up a bladesinger wizard or a Kensei monk.

Lewin's a Battlemaster Fighter or a College of Swords Bard.

Kezz is a Gloomstalker Ranger/Investigator Rogue

It's kinda crazy how this fandom caused me to develop trust issues when it comes to anyone trying to spread too much positivity and awareness because the cute-cozy-person-to-actual-psychopath pipeline is wild

You'd see Morroyo as an NPC during the Starlight Event. He'd probably be talking with the Saint of Nymeia about gifts for the children, or Mother Miounne with the holiday teas.

Morroyo would probably play a taller race, so an M!Elezen, M!Au Ra or M!Rogadyn. He'd also start out as a non-caster and a tank like Marauder or Gladiator. But I can see him eventually going into Red Mage and Viper. He'd be a loremaster, omnicrafter and roleplayer. And be max culinarian.

For Morroyo, a funny story/anecdote, probably over a meal and some drinks. Or hilarious pet antics.

For Lewin, a raunchy song, especially if it's unexpected. He's a Bard, he can appreciate it. 😆

~that he is a pirate. (Well, he WAS. Sort of)

~one time he cooked a grand meal for a whole Maelstrom battalion by himself (he's a Master Culinarian, but he had help)

~he wrote a whole spellbook...with blood (he had help with that too, and it wasn't with blood)

~he summons primals. (Yes)

For both Lewin and Morroyo, it's eye colour.

Morroyo started with dark orange eyes from ARR-ShB. I changed it in ShB and headcanoned that it was from Light corruption (dark orange ➡️ yellow).

Lewin's always had dark blue eyes, but they looked brown in screenshots. In DT, I made them a lighter blue.

Inside the cup: "You've been poisoned" in script. Inside the saucer: "Bye" in script.

Morroyo looks at you with a villainous smirk.

Morroyo has invited you to tea. He's quite hospitable and makes sure you're comfortable. There are plenty of snacks and the conversation is pleasant as you eat and drink.

You reach the bottom of the cup. He smirks at you from across the table.

Morroyo borrows Julyan Manderville's skillet.

Scoring a perfect home run...batting a bomb into the outfield.

"Hey, Julyan, can I borrow this frying pan? Young people and their appetites, you know. I bet I can make a killer dodo egg omelette with this...or I can just bat a bomb right back in someone's face. That'll work too."

Morroyo's imagining having a skillet like this in his kitchen.

I would hate it if *every* protagonist was completely untouchable and canonically the strongest being in the known universe. But it tickles me something fierce that the WoL is.

everyone has their own opinion on DT but I think we can all agree it was objectively funny and fun writing for wol to take an entire electrical grid to the face and be like. dang. ouch. so anyway
