been cleaning up the combat mechanics a lot more now that I have a solid direction to move in

Added the ability to 'scroll' through enemies when locked-on and made some UI elements for the special attack + heals. Combat's feeling really smooth, I think it's time to start focusing on items and map generation next #indiedev #gamedev #unitt

Tweaked the enemy AI a bit, now instead of going straight to the player's position they'll try to go to set positions around the player (visualized by the spheres). This helps prevent the enemies from clumping together when pursuing and attacking #indiedev #gamedev #unity

overall I think my current project is in a really good state, next steps from a technical level are probably map generation (was thinking of them being Gungeon style, big open labyrinths) and items (probably my own take on the Risk of Rain style of item design)

Progress update on my RPG; been working on Claire's Firearm command. Most of the skills in the game will be more traditional but each playable character class will have a unique input for their normal attack.
All the UI, SFX and VFX are very early so please be nice T^T
