I think I could persuade an otherwise-calm elephant to leave a bookshop, provided the egress was large enough for it.

Not even a fun variety of moustaches. All the same moustache that they have to share.
Hard to see in my photo of the slide, but the ladies look like they're having a great time, while the men just have moustaches.
Got some flames I need kindled
For a country that prides itself on FREEDOM!! π¦ πΊπΈ the US does seem to have much stricter rules and respect for the idea of building codes.
It doesn't crack! It just falls open!
The NOISE everyone in this conference room just made at being shown a dispersion binding, I am among my people.
My paper is tomorrow and I've written it and everything! A miracle of some sort.
Am at a conference, like a person? Wearing non-paint-covered clothes and make up? Finding this VERY strange, like I've been teleported into a different life.
They still need to be finished off and painted but they're looking so good!!
I will do! I don't think 144x120 (which this one is) is a sane size that anyone else would manufacture, but the smaller ones seem more likely.

The ones left are all PVC casements (including this GIANT square one that swings to the inside) from 1999, ideally I'd like to replace them with timber sashes.

I wish I hadn't looked too closely tbh, my beautiful newly smooth and painted walls!
This is fun!!
The windows that have been held together with bubble wrap since I bought the flat are finally getting replaced today, and then I might be able to sleep in my bedroom?? I know, I'm speaking too soon, nothing has been easy or straightforward.
The more immigration systems you go through, the more you realise NO ONE has any idea. Opinions about immigrants, yes; idea, no!

They're not erased from history! They found Milton's copy and it's like 'this bit's nice' but it's mostly not even the particularly good bits!
Knew I had a lecture slide on this somewhere...
Doesn't Erasmus himself say something like this in Copia, that you can't just copy things in your commonplace book as a substitute?
AFAIK, there are no 18th-century editions of Tristram Shandy in which someone has drawn a portrait of Widow Wadman on the blank page. There are, however, at least several Oxford Worlds Classics copies in which this has been done, to various degrees of buxomness.
