The latest group of school-based and SRTS-funded BWorks Earn-A-Bike graduated, pictured in their school lot in front of a painted map of the United States, finished up their program just about a week ago. Still another group is slated to go on their graduation ride tomorrow, in another corner of the city. Let's keep the learning and fun rolling!
Maybe you can speak to your childβs past experience in a BWorks class, or to a specific aspect of this project that is in keeping with the community and world you long to see take shape.
Take a few moments and add your voice here β¦ and thank you so much: ewgateway.ecointeractive.com/projects/?pl...

Two BWorks teachers guide a small group of Hickey fourth graders through the ABC Safety Check before a practice ride during their six-week class as part of their school day.
This funding would bring Learn-To-Ride, Earn-A-Bike and Bike Bus programs to *nine* schools all across #STL, giving hundreds more of our local kids the opportunity to build confidence, learn critical safety skills, and experience the joy and freedom of riding (+receiving!) a bike of their very own.

Our student lights for the Earn A Bike classes are here for the next few groups of students! Fun fact, Bworks purchases and gives away an average of $10-12k in bicycle lights each year for youth in our region!
