Nichtlineare Kristallographie an Diamant Das Bild zeigt die Elektronenumverteilung in einer Diamant-Einheitszelle, wie sie mit nichtlinearer Kristallographie abgebildet wird. Die gelben Punkte markieren die Positionen der Kohlenstoffkerne, wรคhrend die farbigen Flรคchen die Intensitรคt der Valenzelektronenreaktion von schwach (dunkel) bis stark (hell) darstellen. Die nichtlineare Kristallographie nutzt den Prozess der rรถntgenoptischen Wellenmischung, um Valenzelektronen anzuregen und ihre rรคumliche Verschiebung kohรคrent รผber das resultierende nichtlineare Signal zu untersuchen. A quantum corral (bottom panel) was built from 91 silver atoms to create a quantum state with four antinodes. A magnetic atom was positioned on the leftmost antinode. The red-brown color in the scanning tunnelling spectroscopy image (center panel) indicates a high probability that the Yu-Shiba-Rusinov quasiparticle is located on the rightmost antinode.
