Merry Dicember Dice Goblins! On the first day of Dicember, I got this shiny new D20!
In this week's blog, I recommended some bingeworthy actual plays!

So, after over 2 years of silence, I have written a new review on my blog, about Fantasy Pants Actual Play podcast!

I'm sure I played in Mystara once a while back, but cannot for the life of me remember what ruleset it was
I know how you feel. There's a group that plays near me, but I can never get to their sessions. All my crazy creations are never actually seeing the light of day
Always love Dice Goblin posts!
Hey #ttrpg community,my Discord server, What The Actual Play?, is open for anyone who is interested in running or playing in online or play by post ttrpgs. Also, if anyone has play tests for games, we're willing to play test as well
I don't know if nextdoor is an app or not,
Let me clarify: if you fail with a ghost you fail hilariously miserably. If you succeed with a ghost you succeed, but with hilarious consequences
Hey #ttrpg folks! For today's #selflesspromosaturday I wanted to shout out the people who have given me ideas converting Ghostbusters to PBTA: @thornvale.bsky.social @chaoticblade5.bsky.social @serorpg.com @maudlingames.com @jennafiggers.bsky.social @thoughtpunks.com @systemhoppers.bsky.social
The Humble Ghost Die, an important mechanic from Ghostbusters International that I intend to carry over to my PBTA conversion. If that fellow came up, success or failure, something interesting would happen. What do you think of this me mechanic, #ttrpg crew?
I can attest! They're a wonderful group of crazies that does nothing but entertain. I've listened to almost everything they've done
Remembering initiative order and remembering to have the monster attackπ€£
Reminds me of an NPC from @storysquadcast.bsky.social , Expanded Universe series, Mervin the Magnificent π€£
I was trying to think of an appropriate playbook for Ray in the first movie and Poster Child just fits
The relative/inheritor is actually my The Legacy. I like the Poster Child and the Occultist as well
It's been a while since I've taken part in one of these. Continuing to work on my Ghostbusters PBTA conversion. Got some good playbook ideas:
Soulless Scientist
The Prodigy
The Gearhead
The Legacy
The Mouth
Any other ideas are incredibly welcome!
Absolutely will use that!
I hear ya man!
So, trying to transfer Ghostbusters International to Powered by the Apocalypse system. So far I have the basic stats down:
Brains
Brawn
Moves
Cool
And Weird
But that's the same as it was before! I need some thoughtful and interesting basic moves and ideas for playbooks if anyone has any
I'd love to be able to watch, but I'm doing laundry. Will try to catch the recording
I can't remember which came first: AD&D or Ghostbusters International. It was in the late 80s early 90s and I'm still here!
I've got 4 play by post DND 5e games I'm DMing. 2 are entirely homebrew, one is an adventure set in my homebrew world, and then there's Oops All Barbarians playing through the Forge of Fury. I also am playing in one play by post DND campaign and am Keeper of a MOTW campaign
Funny thing is, as a 3rd level Paladin, he is immune to disease
In a game I'm running, one of the characters has an incurable disease (or so he thinks). In order to protect others, he is encased in a magical suit of armor
Hey again #ttrpg people! I'm seriously considering converting West End Games' Ghostbusters International to a PBTA system. Never done this before, so I could use some help. Anyone wanting to, just reach out to me.
When I first saw it, I thought "Oh, it's going to be like one of those Pseudo-Documentary Paranormal series" which I love, and not like Supernatural or Buffy. I like it nonetheless, especially with the letter tile and playing card mechanics
Sounds interesting. I'll take a look.
