The Danish Air Force has conducted long range patrol training for F-35 with support of NATO MRTT tankers. The fighters flew from Skrydstrup Air Base to Iceland & back, or about 5,000 km. Denmark has funded two new Airbus MRTT, which will be operating from Denmark when delivered.
I did not have a submarine torpedo a frigate on my 2026 Bingo Card.
The last time it happened was 2 May 1982 when HMS Conqueror sunk the ARA General Belgrano

Please get real. No convoys are possible until a sufficient degredation of Iranian capability has been reached. One thing is destroying the primary capabilities, but for Hormuz it is also secondary and tertiary capabilites down to UAVs and USVs.

I think you misread. He was talking about the NATO sharing, not the French.
The minister for defence specifically mentioned the Danish F-35 could be used for NATO nuclear sharing, but did not mention specifics for the French deterrence

The Danish Government press brifing underlines Denmarkโs willingness to contribute to nuclear deterrence with France but also, at the same time, to participate in NATOโs nuclear deterrence. Nuclear weapons on Danish soil in peacetime is not yet on the agenda.

Yes, indeed, this is why it said "in peacetime". In wartime we would use nuclear weapons placed just south of the Danish-German border.

The Danish government considers stationing of nuclear weapons. The Cold War opposition to nuclear weapons on Danish soil in peacetime was a policy and not by law.

The Arrowhead 140 is basically developed from the existing Danish Iver Huitfeldt frigate class and if requirements for endurance, range and complement are on the same level, then the smaller frigates will be less favoured.

JSM is Norwegian. No idea about the process but TLAM has been on the table since 2018 and still is even if everything has changed. One thing I do know is that only systems in production are being considered.
According to the daily Berlingske the Danish Government is about to close the selection of long-range strike capability announced in September 2025.
The capability package may likely include JSM (500km) and TLAM (1,600+km) as well as JASSM-ER (900km) & long range drones (800km+)

The Danish Government announced it will increase the Defence budget with 21.6bn DKK (2.9bn EUR) in 2027 or a total of 255.4bn DKK (34.2bn EUR) to 2033.
This will raise the budget permanently to 3.5% of GDP by 2030.
It also aims to increase other related budgets to 1.5% by 2030
