The man murdered by ICE was 37-year-old Minneapolis resident and American CITIZEN Alex Pretti. He was a nurse with NO CRIMINAL RECORD. He was an ICE observer legally filming the agents. He had a legal permit to carry a gun, which he did not draw. ICE took his gun BEFORE they shot him.
Target can become a fourth amendment store by posting a sign on its door saying that ICE agents cannot come in to arrest customers or employees unless they have a judicial warrant. ICE is also staging in their parking lot. Target is not a victim. Target is a perpetrator.
It's also to get attention to the fact that ICE can enter these stores without judicial warrants and take customers and employees, as they have done. The goal is to get attention not only here in Minnesota, but nationally and we are achieving that as well.

Rest in peace Victor Manuel Diaz. He was a Latino immigrant kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis. He died in ICE custody at Camp East Montana, Texas while facing deportation.
