"Discriminatory Equity Ideology" shows the thinking of the right wing- they're losing privilege and so they're adamant they're being oppressed. Those same people insist they want a 'meritocracy'. A 'meritocracy' without everyone having an even playing field isn't meritocracy, it's white supremacy.
