Both of them are woefully unqualified to be in their positions.

Normalized mediocrity at the hands of this administration will continue to impact the quality of services, safety standards, and operational reliability across the transportation segment, and yes - most especially aviation.

Took a few months off from BlueSky due to the rabid horde of right-wing lunacy.

I’m back and just as supportive of working people, working families, and doing my part to advance the needs of labor across the US.

The xenophobic, white christian nationalist smooth brains don’t get to win.

Absolutely correct to be outraged.

It really is that simple.

Stop saying they’re β€œcoequal branches.”

No branch wields more power than Congress.

All it has to do is decide to use it.

the Hogan/Thiel destruction of Gawker was one of the defining moments in the fall of the media and made the world, in a significant way, much worse

Pretty damn remarkable. But not in a good way.

Accidentally moving the fuel cutoff switches to CUTOFF is a very…odd thing to do.

Hate to say it but this appears very deliberate.

I really think the attacks on Zohran are going to backfire tremendously with normal people. The appalling racism and Islamophobia will work for people who are racist and bigoted. But the primary vote was a rejection of these tactics, and I don’t believe doubling down will work

Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill appears to close three (3) FAA ARTCC facilities.

These are high altitude facilities that ensure separation of predominately cruise aircraft and any underlying arrival/departure traffic.

I am amazed at the short sightedness of Trump’s FAA and DOT.

Rough day. Heart goes out to all those impacted by #AI171 Air India 171 crash.

What I take away from it so far is this:

They didn’t stop flying the plane. To crash wings level, in that energy state, is a testament to the crew’s dedication to the fight.

You’re great. The depths that (some) corporations are willing to sacrifice the ethics and integrity of their employees - for a few dollars from an executive branch destined to commit high crimes - is, well, disgusting. I could have made that more clear initially. Long day.

Crews should be submitting their relevant airline’s ASAP reports whenever these events happen.

Sources on the inside are embarrassed by the lack of support with some controllers taking trauma leave due to events that the FAA has created, risking flying public’s safety.

Ah, the FAA experiment of harming labor by moving controllers from Long Island to Philly, putting extra stress on telecommunication networks, thereby undermining operational integrity for airlines operating at EWR continues to show just how bad of a decision it was.

I'll say it again: in a country where due process is individually denied and then broadly eroded and eventually eliminated, being a citizen will not protect you from the terror of this administration.

Target suffers 10th consecutive week of foot traffic declines, sinking stock prices since caving on DEI Costco, which resisted pressure to ditch DEI, extends foot-traffic gains streak to 15.

The divergence here from two companies with *very* similar customer bases is pretty wild, you do not see this sort of thing happen at scale very often.

Yeah, the thing they really got me was once I got to the counter…my rental jacket and keys were one of two behind the counter ready for pick up. All of a one minute interaction. Unnecessary, really.

Oh, well, then that’s a massive problem and perhaps they should have found a way to communicate that to customers who expect a certain level of service.
