The photo appears to be from a defunct website called f1-facts.com.

A notable usage of 2TAKTARE.MP3 before Crazy Frog's creation in 2003 was a web page called The Insanity Test.

The test would be to watch a Flash video of Mahlmedahl's recording looped over a photo of a Formula One car without laughing for sixty seconds.

The Crazy Frog sound originated in 1997 as a recording of Swedish teen Daniel Mahlmedahl imitating his 2-stroke moped starting up.

After being a hit with his friends, the file was uploaded under the filename 2TAKTARE.MP3, where it then spread across the internet.

The "Games & Interactive" section of the CF Entertainment website. It reads "First ever Crazy Frog mobile game "Crazy Frog Runner Ding Dash" will finally be released in April 2026 on iOS and Android."

The 2006 compilation album "U2 PRODUCTION CD Vol.17" seemingly contained the song, even featuring the CGI frog on it's cover.

However, releases of the album on Apple Music and Spotify seemingly lack the track, indicating that the samples of Crazy Frog's Axel F were used without permission.

In 2006, music artist TA-TA (តាតា) released a song called "The Crazy Frog" (កង្កែបចម្កួត).

The song heavily samples Crazy Frog's cover of Axel F, and the music video depicts a green CGI frog with shorts riding a futuristic motorcycle through live-action footage.
