The images show intestinal organoids composed of an epithelial monolayer. The center is hollow, that is why it appears black. The nuclei are stained with DAPI colorised with a custom made Fastnacht Palette ❤️🤍💙💛

Ulrich’s research will help advance our understanding of RNA biology & gene regulation, as well as how these mechanisms might be altered during viral infections & other diseases.

We are delighted to welcome Prof. Andreas Ladurner to the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of IMB. A leading expert in chromatin regulation, he brings deep insight from his roles at @lmumuenchen.bsky.social and Eisbach Bio GmbH. His expertise will be an invaluable contribution to IMB's SAB.

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our colleague Dr Nard Kubben. He joined IMB as a Group Leader in 2021, bringing a passion for understanding ageing & improving human health. Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends & all who knew him.
