Missouri kindergarten vaccination rates fall below immunity threshold: 'We are sweating' A community needs a vaccination rate of at least 95% to be adequately protected from measles outbreaks. In Missouri, the rate of vaccinated kindergarteners stands at 90%, while some areas have rates as low as 75%.

We also must take time for self care. But in the end, we have a duty to our fellow human to rise above the hate, hurt, and greed. And we will. I hope you will join me.

This isn’t going to be easy or quick. One midterm or lawsuit isn’t enough. We have to be ready for a long, tough fight against their money & forces.

I also want to scream, cry, and give up but we can’t - especially for those who can’t fight. So we protest, organize, gather, inform, vote, listen, and persist. It worked before and can again.

But this holiday reminds me that we are celebrating freedom from a King. A group of people rallied against authoritarian power to cast a new vision for liberty. In this moment, we are called to do the same.

Many of us are feeling a differentt kind of way this Fourth of July as the President and his servants in congress and the courts are doing everything they can to rip away the fabric of this country.
